I’m Dr. Jamye Banks, a Licensed Psychologist in the greater Ann Arbor/Ypsi area. I have over 9 years of experience in providing individual therapy to adults, particularly college aged individuals. I'm committed to offering support, empathy, and a fresh perspective to help clients learn new strategies that will allow them to flourish. While Im trained as a generalist, my clinical focus includes issues related to anxiety, mood concerns, life transitions, perfectionism, imposter phenomenon, relationship issues, eating/body image, identity development, grief/loss, multicultural concerns, and acute stress and trauma. I believe in taking a collaborative, strengths-based, compassionate approach to help meet client needs and goals. I’m passionate about providing education, strategies, and resources to the community and am interested in participating in workshops, speaking engagements, and podcasts.
